Taiwan. Its been nearly 2 years since i’ve been back in my home country. Taiwan. I know things will have changed a lot, and relatives will have aged. But that’s life right? I cannot tell you how much I miss this country. It is such unique island with alpine like temperatures at the tops of mountains, and tropical temperatures at sea-level. Life here is bursting forth with flavor and color. Everyday is beautiful. How I would love to see my friends and family back in Taiwan. Maybe one day, soon, we shall reunite. The pictures of are the capital city Taipei. It is the largest city in Taiwan, and is famous for it’s tallest building the Taipei 101, which was the tallest in the world until the burj khalifa was completed. The pictures of the fruit are some of the most popular in Taiwan during the sweltering summer months. The first picture is a wax apple (tastes noting like a apple) has a light cool almost minty sweetness. Perfect for those hot and humid days. The second photo is the fruit of the lychee tree. I cannot explain to you how it tastes without comparing it to fruits that taste nothing like it. It is sweet, a little earthy, but has a definite tang to it at the end.
